This grant was awarded by the Economic Development Board of Singapore
to allow Aromatrix to investigate the effectiveness of biotechnology
in removing odour from sewage air.

TEC Innovator Award for Field Conversion of Chemical Scrubber
to a Bioscrubber at Kranji Water Reclamation Plant, 2000-2001 This was the inaugural award granted by The Enterprise Challenge
(TEC) Unit of the Prime Minister’s Office of the Republic
of Singapore. The bioscrubber was successfully trial-tested and
proven effective in removing odorous gases from the treatment
plant. This has led to the development of AroBIOS®
which is Aromatrix’s proprietary technology.

Packing Medium for Bioscrubber, 2001-2003
This grant was awarded by the Economic Development Board of Singapore
for the development of an innovative synthetic packing media for
use in bio-scrubbers.

The Enterprise Challenge Shield for being the most outstanding
TEC innovator in 2002
This prestigious award was granted by The Enterprise Challenge
(TEC) Unit of the Prime Minister’s Office, Singapore, to
the most outstanding TEC outstanding proposer/ team in 2002. The
award was in recognition of Aromatrix’s success in the “Field
Trial of Bioscrubber for Odour Treatment”, having created
the highest new value to the public service. The project was selected
among 16 nominated projects in 2002.

TEC Innovator Award for the Development and Trial-Testing
of a Clinical Olfactometer, 2002
This award was granted by The Enterprise Challenge (TEC) Unit
of the Prime Minister’s Office, Singapore. The Clinical
Olfactometer was successfully trial-tested at the Singapore General
Hospital, ENT Department. The proprietary technology, ClinicNose®,
is the first invention of its kind for systematically and scientifically
measuring olfaction sensitivity.

TEC Achievement Award for the most outstanding TEC innovator
to have successfully commercialized its innovation both locally
and internationally, 2003
This prestigious award was granted by The Enterprise Challenge
(TEC) Unit of the Prime Minister’s Office, Singapore. The
award was in recognition of Aromatrix’s breakthrough in
commercializing its bioscrubber technology, AroBIOS®,
both in the local and US markets. The project was selected among
6 nominated projects since the launch of TEC in 2001.
